Chapel Hill adapted rec project
We were thrilled to collaborate with Chapel Hills Adapted Recreation Program to offer a series of 3 classes on acting and improv to young adults with autism or other cognitive disabilities in 2021-2022. Mandy Moore, who is a teaching artist and graduate of the applied theatre MA from CUNY was the lead facilitator on this project. Students had an opportunity to work on their communication and listening skills while connecting with each other and finding joy through theatre and we hope to return and offer this class again one day.
